As a big fan of MMORPGS, the announcement of a new expansion pack for World Of Warcraft Cataclysm, due for release in later this year is really exciting.

I will be looking for a comprehensive guide to the WoW Cataclysm expansion. I can be sure to find step by step quest guide and leveling walk-throughs, expert analysis of the big changes to my current 80s.

WoW Cataclysm Instances and Dungeons

March 22nd, 2010 -- Posted in Cataclysm Dungeons and Instances, Images | No Comments »

This article provides a brief guide to instances and dungeons in Cataclysm.

Below is a brief guide to the upcoming WoW Cataclysm instances. Some of them will be playable immediately, other encounters will have to wait until players have advanced a few levels. Whichever one you enter, you can be sure to find some new and interesting epic loot upgrades.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Blackrock Caverns

Blackrock Caverns is a WoW Cataclysm dungeon located in the legendary Blackrock Mountains from the original WoW game .It also serves as a offsite base for WoW Cataclysm’s main nemesis, Deathwing.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Grim Batol

Grim Batol dungeon in WoW Cataclysm will serve as level up instance for players to gain experience and upgrade their loot. It’s unclear yet if Blizzard plans to make leveling all the way to 85 in dungeons viable.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Deepholm

Deepholm is the new hub of WoW Cataclysm. You will have portals there that let you teleport to Hyjal, Uldum, and any other place you want to go in Cataclysm. The Twilight’s Hammer is now serving Deathwing and they have managed to bring him back to full health in the Temple of Earth located at the center of the map. Deepholm is not actually linked to Azeroth, the connection is where Deathwing emerged from the ground.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Lost City of Tol’Vir

All we know of this new Cataclysm instance is that it will be outdoors and will be a 5 man dungeon.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Abyssal Maw

Abyssal Maw is a 5 man dungeon in Cataclysm for levels 78-82. It will be located in the Sunken City of Vashj’ir, located in the elemental plane of water, and you will be fighting in the ocean floor.

WoW Cataclysm Dungeon: Halls of Origination

Halls of Origination is the first 5 man dungeon that will be located in the lost deserts of Uldum for WoW Cataclysm. Halls of Origination will feature 7 bosses. This will be the ultimate Titan dungeon in WoW Cataclysm, and will have a visual look much like a Pharaoh’s tomb. Brann Bronzebeard has been on his travels again and can be found here.

WoW Cataclysm Old World Heroic: Deadmines

Deadmines is the first instance that most Alliance World of Warcraft players experienced playing the game. I cringe when I think back to how I played back then… WoW Cataclysm is creating a new Heroic version of this classic instance. Now I am used to soloing it on my level 80 mage to farm low level mats for alts, it will be interesting to go back and face an 80+ Van Cleef.

WoW Cataclysm Old World Heroic: Shadowfang Keep

Shadowfang Keep is an instance that Horde players will know really well. This old world dungeon is long, winding and confusing  but I love it just for the music! A Heroic version of another low level dungeon which is often farmed and known by many should be interesting. I wonder if it will have another impossible to find rare drop weapon again?

It looks like players won’t be short on content if they like running instances. As usual we can expect to see more instances added as new patches are implemented. However, first of all we have the challenge of what is waiting for us in WoW Cataclysm and with the aid of a good Cataclysm guide should be rolling in new loot as soon as possible after the release.

WoW Cataclysm Raids

March 10th, 2010 -- Posted in Cataclysm Raids, Images | No Comments »

This article provides a brief guide to Cataclysm raids.

Below is an introduction to the new raids players will find in the new World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion. Blizzard are staying with the 10man/25 man model and expect to see a continuation of the “epic” modes for both. As you will see there is plenty to look forward to…

WoW Cataclysm Raid: Blackwing Descent

Blackwing Descent is a new raid in WoW Cataclysm inspired by Blackwing Lair. Nefarian is said to return to the instance. There will be new loot, new creatures and new art in the Cataclysm version of this raid.

WoW Cataclysm Raid: The Firelands

The Firelands is a really exciting new WoW Cataclysm raid that is situated in the elemental plane of fire. This is an outdoor raid instance, which offers challenges of its own to raiders. And the boss for the Firelands? None other than Ragnaros himself last battled in Molten Core of “vanilla” WoW. This time around, expect him to be an even more ominous foe.

WoW Cataclysm Raid: Skywall

Skywall is a WoW Catacalysm raid located in the Air Elemental Plane. So far not much has been announced for it except for that it will be a raid for level 85 players.

WoW Cataclysm Raid: Grim Batol

WoW Cataclysm’s final raid that was annouced is Grim Batol. It will be located in the newly opened Grim Batol pvp zone. Again, nothing has been announced for this new WoW Cataclysm raid except that it will be one of the four raids available to level 85 in Cataclysm.

WoW Cataclysm guide will keep you uptodate with all the latest information about these new raids as soon as any more details are revealed.
